LPC-Associate | San Antonio, Texas
I am an LPC-Associate providing counseling in San Antonio, Texas, under the supervision of Mayra Cano, LPC-Supervisor. I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) and am passionate about serving the diverse individuals and families in our San Antonio community.
I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, eating disorders, mood disorders, grief and loss, trauma, domestic violence, and challenges related to identity and life transitions. I understand that reaching out for counseling can feel vulnerable, and I strive to create a welcoming and collaborative space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported as you work toward meaningful change.
My therapeutic foundation centers on helping you better understand your values, recognize your strengths, and live with greater intention. I use a person-centered and goal-focused approach designed to help you develop a stronger sense of agency while working toward a life that feels more joyful and fulfilling.
Depending on your individual needs and goals, I incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, narrative approaches, and creative therapeutic interventions. I also value cultural humility, curiosity, creativity, and holistic development as important parts of the counseling process.
I believe meaningful progress happens when therapy is collaborative and you begin to take ownership of your goals through self-discovery, reflection, and practical change. Your therapeutic journey is unique to you, and my goal is to support you as you develop greater confidence in who you are and work toward becoming your favorite version of yourself.
Outside of counseling, I enjoy photography, drawing, traveling, and building vintage websites.
